<image:caption>Using a style of Pot Still whiskey reflective of the Midleton Distillery tradition, Redbreast 21 represents the ultimate expression of Redbreast Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey. The 21 year ageing process introduces new levels of depth, flavour and taste, creating a complex and rewarding whiskey. Abundantly aromatic and fruitful, and produced in very limited quantities, this 21 year old Redbreast is a joy to behold in each and every bottle. Nose: Remarkable aroma spanning fresh tropical fruits, nuts and rich dried fruit. Taste: Soft vanilla, toasted oak, sherry nuttiness with a dusting of spices. Luscious fleshy fruit notes complete the silky mouthfeel. <image:title>JAMESON - Jameson Stout Edition</image:title>
<image:caption>Like all the best conversations, the one between Jameson’s Head of Whiskey Science and the Head Brewer of a local craft beer brewery, started at the bar. A swapping of whiskey and beer barrels soon after, resulted in Jameson Stout Edition - triple-distilled, blended Irish Whiskey that has been patiently finished in Irish craft beer-seasoned barrels. Nose: An initial aroma of freshly cut hay is complemented by a crisp orchard fruit character - green apples and pears, with a twist of lime zest. Mild pot still spices appear, deepening from green tea to hazelnut and milk chocolate. Taste: The initial sweet mouth coating typical of the Irish pot still inclusion is quickly complemented by the subtle touch of hops and cocoa beans from the beer cask finish. Finish: Long and sweet with milk chocolate and butterscotch.</image:caption>

<image:title>JAMESON - Jameson IPA Edition</image:title>
<image:caption>The next great IPA is… a whiskey. Introducing Jameson IPA Edition – a whiskey that is finished in IPA beer barrels for floral, crisp, hoppy notes. Like craft beer? Well, why not try a whiskey that incorporates all the great flavours of an IPA. We matured Jameson Irish whiskey in Irish Pale Ale-seasoned barrels, and the end result is something people (well the guys at our Midleton Distillery for one) are calling the next great IPA… So, if you’re a fan of beer, of trying something new, or simply want to be the first to introduce your mates to their ‘new favourite drink’, try Jameson IPA today! It’s a whiskey with a little extra hop. Nose: Floral, herbal hops, grapefruit citrus notes with subtle orchard fruits, complemented by wood shavings and a little nuttiness. Taste: Hops and light citrus with sweet herbal notes and delicate spicy tones. Finish: The lingering fresh fruit and hops give way to grains of barley and a signature smooth finish.</image:caption>

<image:title>JAMESON - Jameson Crested</image:title>
<image:caption>Back in the day it was common practice to sell Irish whiskey to bonders by the cask. Then, it was left up to them to bottle it. In 1963, after some greedy bonders started to water down the whiskey to fill up their pockets, we took over full control of the process, from grain to glass. Jameson Crested is a celebration of those first drops bottled back in Bow Street. Nose: Vivid sherry pot still aroma. Taste: Delicate sherry undertones & toasted wood, with fruit, spice & chocolate notes. Finish: Warm lingering sherry.</image:caption>

<image:title>JAMESON - Jameson Black Barrel</image:title>
<image:caption>Charring is an age-old method for invigorating barrels to intensify the taste. Jameson Black Barrel is our tribute to our coopers, who painstakingly give their bourbon barrels an additional charring to reveal their untold richness and complexity. Because every barrel contains secrets; the trick is coaxing them out. Nose: Time spent maturing in these barrels leads to intensified aromas of butterscotch, fudge and creamy toffee. Taste: Nutty notes are in abundance alongside the smooth sweetness of spice and vanilla. Finish: Enjoy the richness and intensity of toasted wood and vanilla.</image:caption>

<image:title>MIDLETON - Midleton Very Rare 2018</image:title>
<image:caption>Chosen from the most exceptional quality single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys laid down over the past four decades in Midleton, Co Cork, Midleton Very Rare 2020 is aged from 13 to 35 years in lightly charred ex-bourbon American oak barrels. Brian Nation selected a higher pot still inclusion than in some of his previous vintages, while also increasing the use of refill barrels among his choice of casks. The result is a luxurious and balanced whiskey with rich pot still notes and elegant grain distillates that take centre stage thanks to the inclusion of refill casks - a fitting legacy for one of Irish whiskey’s great Master Distillers. Nose: Vanilla sweetness with a light floral perfume. Some citrus zest combines with fresh herbs and sweet spices complimented by a touch of black pepper and charred oak. Taste: Mouth-coating sweetness of vanilla, cinnamon and clove, enriched with a hint of green apple and unripe banana. Peppery pot still spices, along with charred American oak, add complexity. Finish: Soft sweet spices fade leisurely leaving the final say to the charred oak and barley grains.</image:caption>

Nose: Pot Still spice combines with crisp barley character. Taste: In true Pot Still style, an initial taste delivers smooth mouth-coating barley followed by an eruption of green apple and citrus notes. Most of what is distilled here is used to produce Dewar's Blended Whiskies. In fact, other than the 12 year old, the 21 year is the only other distillery bottling on offer. The red squirrel on the label is to highlight the rare squirrels that inhabit the area surrounding Aberfeldy. Nose: Honey, fruity. Thick malt, enlivened by a fresh, zesty quality. The practice is maintained despite the name change and the result is loads of flavour. Nose: Honey, peach, apple and wood. Cut hay. Taste: Medium, vanilla fudge, smoke, toffee, heather honey, oak. This ties in well with the oak notes of the barrel, which are chewy and soft. There are delicate floral and herby notes coming through as well. A soft hint of strawberry jam and old oak furniture too. Palate: Hobnob biscuits, more red berry sweetness, sandalwood, toffee and treacle. Nose: Candied orange peel, chocolate covered marzipan, sherried dried fruit, and praline and tropical fruit. <image:title>WALSH - The Irishman Single Malt</image:title>
<image:caption>The Irishman Single Malt Irish Whiskey comes, surprisingly, from Ireland. It's a triple distilled expression which is aged in both sherry and bourbon casks for over 10 years before bottling. Nose: Light and fruity on the nose. A little hint of liquorice pops up, as does crumbly vanilla fudge. Taste: A classic pudding of peaches and cream with a sprinkling of crushed up biscuits and almonds. Finish: Fairly long, with oak cropping up near the end.</image:caption>

<image:title>BUSHMILLS - Bushmills Original</image:title>
<image:caption>The Bushmills Original recipe dates back to before prohibition. Combining our single malt whiskey and a lighter grain whiskey, you’ll notice its rich, smooth warming taste almost instantly, just as generations have done before. Nose: Aromatic, sweet Riesling-like quality to this. Also cut herbs and blossom. Taste: Fruity, aromatic palate. Salty butter, all kinds of blossom, sweet vanilla cream and citrus. Finish: A malty finish with cardamom and ginger on the tail.</image:caption>

<image:title>BUSHMILLS - Bushmills Black Bush</image:title>
<image:caption>If you've been in a bar (any bar, really), you've more than likely seen a bottle of this on the shelf. One of the most well-known Irish blends, Bushmills Black Bush features a lot of sherried malt in its recipe, alongside classically caramel-y grain whiskey. Suitable for enjoying neat, but it can also be used in whiskey cocktails that call for dark fruit sweetness… Nose: Over-ripe grape and light citrus on the nose. A touch of toffee and peanut. Taste: Vanilla and milk bottle sweeties. Dried peels, chamomile tea and cinnamon sticks. Finish: Digestive biscuit, cooked plum and orange oil.</image:caption>

<image:title>BUSHMILLS - Bushmills Single Malt 10 Years Old</image:title>
<image:caption>Bushmills 10 year old single malt whiskey is triple distilled from 100% malted barley and matured for at least 10 years in sherry and bourbon seasoned barrels, which give it a honey, vanilla and milk chocolate flavours. This is a personal favourite of Master Blender Helen Mulholland and is best served neat or over ice. We call it the perfect “summertime whiskey,” when poured over two ice cubes. Nose: Banana skins. Taste: Medium, very fruity, chocolate pudding. Finish: Floral, tannic.</image:caption>
