Bushmills Original
The Bushmills Original recipe dates back to before prohibition. Combining our single malt whiskey and a lighter grain whiskey, you’ll notice its rich, smooth warming taste almost instantly, just as generations have done before.
Nose: Aromatic, sweet Riesling-like quality to this. Also cut herbs and blossom.
Taste: Fruity, aromatic palate. Salty butter, all kinds of blossom, sweet vanilla cream and citrus.
Finish: A malty finish with cardamom and ginger on the tail.
Bushmills Black Bush
If you've been in a bar (any bar, really), you've more than likely seen a bottle of this on the shelf. One of the most well-known Irish blends, Bushmills Black Bush features a lot of sherried malt in its recipe, alongside classically caramel-y grain whiskey. Suitable for enjoying neat, but it can also be used in whiskey cocktails that call for dark fruit sweetness…
Nose: Over-ripe grape and light citrus on the nose. A touch of toffee and peanut.
Taste: Vanilla and milk bottle sweeties. Dried peels, chamomile tea and cinnamon sticks.
Finish: Digestive biscuit, cooked plum and orange oil.
Bushmills Single Malt 10 Years Old
Bushmills 10 year old single malt whiskey is triple distilled from 100% malted barley and matured for at least 10 years in sherry and bourbon seasoned barrels, which give it a honey, vanilla and milk chocolate flavours. This is a personal favourite of Master Blender Helen Mulholland and is best served neat or over ice. We call it the perfect “summertime whiskey,” when poured over two ice cubes.
Nose: Banana skins.
Taste: Medium, very fruity, chocolate pudding.
Finish: Floral, tannic.
